Misty Mountain Retreat is nestled deep in the hills, overlooking the majestic Ruahine Ranges. Set on five acres of landscaped gardens, the retreat offers sweeping views and a sense of peace that feels worlds away.
The fully renovated lodge sleeps up to ten guests and features an eclectic blend of whimsical décor, creating a truly mystical and enchanting atmosphere throughout. Every space has been thoughtfully designed to feel both inspiring and deeply comfortable.
Outdoors, you’ll find generous areas for relaxation and connection, including a large entertaining deck, a hot spa pool tucked into the gardens, and a firepit perfect for gathering on warm summer evenings to stargaze and unwind. Nestled within the gardens is also a mystical stone circle, a timeless gathering place that feels both ancient and quietly magical.
Accommodation includes beautifully styled twin and triple-share bedrooms, each themed with its own unique colour palette and furnished with comfortable king single beds.
For couples, the private main suite offers a peaceful retreat of its own, complete with an ensuite and a beautiful outlook from the bedroom, where you can wake to expansive views of the garden and the quiet stillness of the surrounding hills.
